Abstract
Corn silk (Zea mays), a traditional medicine for diabetes, was shown to be a source of natural antioxidants with alpha-amylase, alpha-glucosidase, advanced-glycation and diabetic-nephropathy inhibitory activities, supporting its antioxidant and antidiabetic use.
