Abstract
In a randomized, placebo-controlled crossover trial, olive (Olea europaea) leaf polyphenols improved insulin sensitivity and pancreatic beta-cell responsiveness in middle-aged overweight men, supporting an antidiabetic, metabolic benefit of olive leaf.
