Serenoa repens and Urtica dioica Fixed Combination: In-Vitro Validation of a Therapy for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
Preclinical
Abstract
An in-vitro study validated a fixed combination of saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) and stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) as a therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia, with anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative effects on prostate cells, supporting nettle's use for lower-urinary-tract symptoms.
