Abstract

Extending earlier work on Tilia cordata, a Tilia flower extract and its monoterpenes (especially limonene) showed selective antiproliferative action on tumour lymphocytes and an immunomodulatory stimulatory effect on normal lymphocytes, indicating a potential source of immunomodulatory monoterpenes in linden.
