Tilia cordata Mill. extracts and scopoletin (isolated compound): differential cell growth effects on lymphocytes

Abstract
Aqueous and organic extracts of Tilia cordata flowers, used in folk medicine for anxiety, showed selective antiproliferative and immunosuppressive effects on lymphocytes, with the coumarin scopoletin identified as partly responsible for the activity.
