Abstract
Salicin, the key constituent of white willow bark (Salix alba), inhibited angiogenesis and tumour growth in vitro and in vivo by blocking reactive-oxygen-species and ERK pathways, revealing an antitumour/antiangiogenic activity of the willow constituent.
